About Me

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Nottingham with a focus on machine learning, deep learning, and data analysis. With a PhD in Computer Science and a first-class degree in Software Systems, I have completed advanced training in machine learning at Imperial College London alongside professional certificates in AI and NLP from Stanford. As a profoundly deaf data scientist and academic, I have built a distinguished career across academia and industry. My PhD research focused on robust computer vision and 3D reconstruction, delivering new algorithms for multi-view modeling and high-accuracy spatial analysis. This includes building and evaluating deep learning pipelines for detection and tracking, improving data quality with restoration models, and applying semantic segmentation to automate complex image analysis tasks. Outside of research, I build and ship products end-to-end. edgewords is a daily social word puzzle game with real-time leaderboards, groups, and cross-platform mobile apps. The Story Chamber is a curated AI fiction platform that uses advanced prompt engineering, persona modeling, and multi-model orchestration to generate cohesive, voice-driven stories without human edits.

My expertise encompasses multiple programming languages, including Python, C#, PHP, and SQL, along with deep learning, machine learning, large-scale data analysis, and advanced computer vision techniques. Throughout my career, including roles at NHS and Lockwood Publishing, I have consistently delivered data-driven solutions that improve decision-making and operational efficiency. I am now seeking analyst, developer, or machine learning roles where I can apply AI, LLMs, and data science to solve meaningful business and research problems.
